Galston kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Ayr, later Ayr and Kilmarnock, and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr. The vicarage of Galston originally belonged to the Ministry of the Red Friars of Fail. The church of the parish, which was rebuilt in 1809, held a dedication to St Peter. The session records ministry from 1563.
