Fyvie kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Turriff, later of Buchan and the synod of Aberdeen. It was a pre-Reformation parish. During the 12th century the parish church of Fyvie, which was dedicated to St Peter, was granted to the Abbey of Arbroath. Part of the parish was removed in 1858 to form a part of the quoad sacra parish of Millbrex, and another part in 1876 to form the quoad sacra parish of Barthol Chapel.
