A parish mainly in the county of Perth and partly in Kinross. It was a quoad omnia parish (a parish for civil and religious purposes). In 1891 the Boundary Commissioners altered the boundaries of the civil parish, greatly reducing the parish in size and placed it wholly in the county of Kinross.
