Forres Associate, United Secession, United Presbyterian kirk session
A secession church court. It began as a General Associate (Antiburgher) Session in 1768. The congregation passed to the United Secession Church in 1820, and to the United Presbyterian Church in 1847. The congregation then passed to the United Free Church, as Forres Castlehill, in 1900, and to the Church of Scotland in 1929.
