Forglen kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Turriff and the synod of Aberdeen. The church was dedicated to St Adamnan and ministry is recorded from 1588. Forglen was for a time joined with the neighbouring parish of Alvah but was erected as a separate parish during the early years of the seventeenth century.
