Edinburgh - Lady Glenorchy's kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Edinburgh and the synod of Lothian and Tweeddale. It originated as a chapel founded by Willielma, Viscountess Glenorchy in 1774, with no parish area or territorial responsibility. In 1843 the minister and most of the congregation joined the Free Church and established Lady Glenorchy’s Free Church. In 1862 it became a quoad sacra parish.
