Edinburgh - St Mary's Free, United Free kirk session

A secession church court. It was established with the Disruption by the minister and part of the congregation of Edinburgh St Mary’s in 1843. The congregation took the name St. Mary’s Free Church. It became St Mary’s United Free in 1900 and Barony, Church of Scotland, in 1929. Subsequently, Edinburgh Barony united with Edinburgh St James’ Place to form Edinburgh Barony and St James's Place in 1933.
