Edinburgh - Nicolson Street Associate, United Presbyterian, United Free, Church of Scotland kirk session

A secession church court. It was founded as an Antiburgher congregation with the split of the Original Secession Church in 1747. In 1820 Crosscauseway Antiburgher became Nicolson Street United Associate Secession. In 1847 the congregation went to the United Presbyterian Church as Nicholson Street United Presbyterian and in 1900 to the United Free Church. In 1929 it revered back into the Church of Scotland as Edinburgh Nicholson Street. Edinburgh Nicolson Street merged with Charteris-Pleasance, and Buccleuch to form Kirk O’Field in 1969
