Edinburgh - Slateford United Associate, United Presbyterian, United Free Church, Church of Scotland kirk session

A secession church court. It began as a Burgher congregation in 1783. The congregation passed to the United Associate Session in 1820 and to the United Presbyterian Church in 1847. It then passed to the United Free Church in 1900 and to the Church of Scotland in 1929. In 1955 Edinburgh Slateford was transported to Longstone and adopted the name of Edinburgh Slateford Longstone.
