Edinburgh - Arthur Street Relief, United Presbyterian, United Free kirk session
A secession church court. It began as a Relief congregation in 1825. A union was established in 1842 with the congregation of Roxburgh Terrace, under the name of Arthur Street Relief. The congregation passed to the United Presbyterian Church in 1847 and to the United Free Church in 1900 as Arthur Street. In 1919, a union was established with the Edinburgh New College Settlement. The congregation existed now under the name of Pleasance United Free Church. The united congregation passed to the Church of Scotland in 1929 and in 1953 a union was established with Charteris Memorial under the name of Edinburgh Charteris-Pleasance.
