Balerno United Associate, United Presbyterian, United Free, Church of Scotland kirk session
A secession church court. It began as a United Associate Presbytery congregation from the parishes of West Calder and Currie in 1828. The village of Balerno was in the civil parish of Currie in the county of Midlothian. It became a United Presbyterian church in 1847 and then Balerno United Free Church in 1900. In 1929 it became Balerno Church of Scotland.
