Ecclesmachan kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Linlithgow and the synod of Lothian and Tweeddale. Prior to the reformation the church of Ecclesmachan, which was dedicated to St Machan, belonged to the Preceptory of St John at Torphichen. Ministry is recorded from 1563.Records available
