Garvald Free, United Free kirk session
A secession church court. The charge was formed in 1843 when the minister and a large part of the congregation came out of the parish church. It passed to the United Free Church in 1900, but its status was reduced in 1909. The charge was vacant from 1915 to 1921, when it was linked with Yester. In 1930 an initial agreement to unite with the Church of Scotland in Garvald was overturned and the congregation was dissolved in 1931.
