Duthil kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Abernethy and the synod of Moray. The kirk session of Duthill was united with Rothiemurchus in 1625, but the union was severed in 1833. In 1870 the two parishes were joined again. The church was dedicated to St Peter and in its early days was a prebend of Elgin Cathedral. Ministry is recorded from 1574.
