Duns - South United Presbyterian, United Free, Church of Scotland kirk session

A secession church court. It began as a Relief Church, which was apparently formed in the early 1760s. The congregation passed to the United Presbyterian Church in 1847 and united with Duns West UP, a former Burgher church, in 1895. The united session was known as Duns South. It passed to the United Free Church in 1900 and to the Church of Scotland in 1929.
