Dundee - Broughty Ferry West Free, United Free, Church of Scotland kirk session
A secession church court. It began as Broughty Ferry Free Church in 1843, when the minister of Broughty Ferry quoad sacra parish seceded. In 1862 it was renamed Broughty Ferry - West (Free) to distinguish it from Broughty Ferry East (Free). It became a United Free parish in 1900 and united with Broughty Ferry Union (United Free) in 1925 as Broughty Ferry - West. In 1929 it rejoined the Church of Scotland as Broughty Ferry - West.
