Dunbar - West Associate (Burgher), United Presbyterian kirk session
A secession church court. The charge was established as an Associate burgher congregation called Dunbar - West in 1767, and in 1847 it became part of the United Presbyterian Church. A ruling by the UP Presbytery in 1865 that the East and West congregations should unite was met with opposition from the East church. In 1900 it became part of the United Free Church with the name of Dunbar - Erskine, and in 1917 united with Dunbar - Abbey.
