Drainie kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Elgin and the synod of Moray. Drainie was known of old as Kinedar, and was united with Ogston in 1669. The parish contained the burgh of Lossiemouth and from 1847 to 1848 a mission chapel operated there. This was replaced by a larger church in 1899, which took the name Drainie - St Gerardine's chapel of ease.
