Dalkeith kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Dalkeith and the synod of Lothian and Tweeddale. The church was founded in 1406 as a Collegiate Church dedicated to St Nicholas and was a prebend of the Deanery of Restalrig. In 1467 it was disjoined from the parish of Lasswade. The parish was erected on 5 June 1592 and ministry is recorded from 1565.
