Cumbernauld kirk session (previously Easter Lenzie)

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Glasgow until 1929, when it was transferred to that of Linlithgow and Falkirk (later Falkirk), and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr. The parish was disjoined from Kirkintilloch in 1649 and was originally called Easter Lenzie, but the name was changed to Cumbernauld in 1659. A portion of Cumbernauld parish was removed in 1883 to form part of the quoad sacra parish of Condorrat.
