Canisbay Free, United Free kirk session

A secession church court. It originated as Canisbay Free church after the Disruption in 1843. The church building, manse and school were erected in 1845, but no minister was inducted until 1851. The congregation passed to the United Free Church in 1901 and to the Church of Scotland, as Canisbay South, in 1929. It united with Canisbay Old as Canisbay in 1950.
