Bressay kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Lerwick, and thereafter in the presbytery and synod of Shetland. It was sometimes known as Bressay, Burra and Quarff parish. The three parishes of Bressay, Burra and Quarff were united in the 16th century, but Burra and Quarff were severed from Bressay in 1833 to become a quoad sacra parish.
