A higher court of the Church of Scotland. It was in the synod of Angus and Mearns. Between 17 September 1698 and 10 September 1700, the Presbytery of Brechin and the Presbytery of Fordoun formed part of the United Presbytery of Brechin, Fordoun and Arbroath.
