Bothwell kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Hamilton and synod of Glasgow and Ayr. The church of Bothwell, which was dedicated to Saint Bride, was constituted as a collegiate church in 1398 by Archibald, Earl of Douglas, with ministry being recorded from 1568.Records available
