Alexandria United Secession congregation, United Presbyterian, United Free kirk session

A secession church court. It began as originated in a dispute within Bonhill Relief Church in 1841, leading to a call by members in Alexandria to a minister in the following year. A church was erected shortly afterwards. It passed successively to the United Presbyterian and United Free Churches (as Alexandria Bridge Street). It became a Church of Scotland parish in 1929.
