Birsay - Free, United Free kirk session

A secession church court. It began as a Free Church in 1875 or earlier. The congregation passed to the United Free Church in 1900 and to the Church of Scotland, as Birsay-Twatt, in 1929. There was a Church of Scotland mission chapel at Twatt, as part of Aithsting (Sandsting and Aithsting) parish.
