Banff kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Fordyce and the synod of Aberdeen. The old parish church of Banff, which was rebuilt in 1790 and later renovated in 1929, was dedicated to St Mary and formerly belonged to the Abbey of Arbroath. Ministry of the session is recorded from 1563.
