Ayr - Cathcart Street Relief, United Presbyterian, United Free, Church of Scotland kirk session

A secession church court. It began as a congregation in the Relief Presbytery of Glasgow in 1814. The church building was completed in 1816, to serve a congregation then known as Ayr Cathcart Street Relief Church. It became a United Presbyterian Church in 1847, a United Free church in 1900 and transferred to the Church of Scotland at the union of 1929.
