Muirkirk Free Church, United Free kirk session
A secession church court. It began as a Free Church in 1845. The congregation passed to the United Free Church in 1900 as Muirkirk Chalmers, and this united with Muirkirk Main Street in 1915. The united congregation passed to the Church of Scotland, as Muirkirk Wellwood, in 1929, and united with Muirkirk Old to be known as Muirkirk in 1947.
