Auchterless kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Turriff and the synod of Aberdeen. The old church of Auchterless, which was rebuilt in 1780 and again in 1879, held a dedication to St Donan and the kirk session records ministry from 1567. Part of the parish was removed in 1869 to form part of the quoad sacra parish of Ythanwells.
