Arngask kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Perth and the synod of Perth and Stirling until 1856, when it was removed to form part of the newly created presbytery of Kinross within the synod of Fife. From 1891 until 1975 it was wholly in the county of Perth. In 1625 Arngask was united briefly with Strathmiglo. Until 1642 Arngask was a small parish, but then lands were annexed to it from the parish of Forgandenny. Arngask was further extended in 1669 when parts of Orwell and Stathmiglo parishes were also annexed.
