Alvah kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Turriff and the synod of Aberdeen. The old church of Alvah, which was rebuilt in 1792, was dedicated to St Colman and belonged, prior to the Reformation, to the Abbey of Coupar. The session records ministry from 1574. Part of the parish was removed in 1869 to form part of the quoad sacra parish of Ord.Records available
