Aberlour kirk session

A church court that sat within the presbytery of Aberlour and the synod of Moray. The parish of Aberlour, which had been known Skirdustan, was dedicated to St Drostan and was formerly a prebend of Elgin Cathedral. The session records ministry from 1574. Part of the parish was removed in 1865 to form part of the quoad sacra parish of Glenrinnes.
