Aberlady Secession, United Presbyterian, United Free, Church of Scotland kirk session

A secession church court. The congregations had its beginnings in 1842, the church building was opened in 1843, and the first minister was called in 1846. In due course it became part of the United Presbyterian Church and then the United Free. In 1927 there was a provisional union with the Aberlady Church of Scotland congregation and this was formalised in 1929.
