Strathdon and Glenbuchat Free, United Free kirk session
A secession church court. It began as a Free Church preaching station which was united with that of Strathdon in 1850 to form Strathdon and Glenbuchat Free Church. The congregation passed to the United Free Church in 1900. In 1917 Strathdon and Glenbuchat United Free Church united with Towie and Cushnie United Free to form Towie, Strathdon and Glenbuchat Church. The congregation passed to the Church of Scotland as Towie East in 1929, and was united with Towie West Church in 1930. In 1956 Towie Church was united with Glenbuchat Church under the name of Glenbuchat-Towie Church of Scotland.
