Whitehill United Presbyterian kirk session
A secession church court. Whitehill United Presbyterian Church originated with a group of seceders in Clola, Whitehill and Old Deer, which was established in the early 1740s. The first minister of the Antiburgher church there was ordained in 1779. This passed in due course to the United Presbyterian Church. In 1897, an agreement was made for a local union, with New Pitsligo Free Church, carried out in 1898. A United Presbyterian minister transferred to the Free Church and the united charge passed to the United Free Church as New Pitsligo.
