New Deer and Artamford United Presbyterian kirk session

A secession church court. It began as a Burgher congregation in 1806, and the first minister was ordained into the charge in 1809. In its early years it was known as Artamford. It passed in turn to the United Secession and United Presbyterian Churches, and to the United Free Church in 1900 as New Deer East. In 1908 it united with New Deer West to form the charge of New Deer and Maud.
