Midmar Original Secession, Free, United Free kirk session

A secession church court. It was also known as Bankhead. The charge began as a Burgher congregation in 1818 and passed to the Church of Scotland at the reunion in 1839. It left to join the Free Church in 1843. It then passed to the United Free Church in 1900 and to the Church of Scotland, as Midmar West, in 1929. It united with Midmar Christ Church, to be known as Midmar, in 1936.
