Answer: The prisoner was Robert Turner and he had to agree to bail of 500 merks to live regularly and orderly, stay within his parish, appear before the Privy Council when called and not to bear arms against the king.

THE Lords of his majesties privy Councill Doe hereby
Give order and warrand for setting at liberty Robert Turner
prisoner in the tolbooth of the Cannongate He inacting himself
to live regularly and orderly under the penalty of five hundred
merks and to keep his paroch kirk and to appear before the
Councill when called and subscriveing the band not to rise in armes
against his majesty or his authority Conforme to his majesties late
proclamation
