Poser 313 - Baptisms for Rutherglen, 1677

This poser is an excerpt from a register of baptisms within a volume of kirk session records for the parish of Rutherglen (National Records of Scotland, CH2/315/1, page 111).

Each baptism gives the name of the child (after the letter C), the names of the parents (P) and the witnesses (W). The abbreviation after each of child's name is lau[fu]ll, to denote that the child was the offspring of a married couple. These baptisms were recorded in 1677 and the main problems you'll find will be capital letters and some unusual surnames which are typical of Rutherglen.
