Order online
You can order publications from the online publications store only. They are not available to purchase in person from the National Records of Scotland (NRS) at General Register House or New Register House. You will need a credit or debit card to use this service.

- Declaration of Arbroath poster (A3 size): £2.62
- Tracing Your Scottish Ancestors The Official Guide: 7th Edition by National Records of Scotland: £12.99
These costs are inclusive of VAT, where applicable, and postage charges will be added at the checkout. Please note each publication cannot be ordered with other products from the online publication store or with certificates and copies.
Postage
All publications are posted by Royal Mail 1st class UK mail or standard airmail. Other postage options are not currently available. Please note that collection from NRS at General Register House and New Register House is also not available.
Processing times
We aim to process and post out online orders for publications within 15 working days of the order being received. Please note that priority processing is not available.
