In this video, we’re opening our doors to reveal the breadth of National Records of Scotland services, including Scotland's People.

We collect, preserve and publish information about Scotland's people and history, to inform current and future generations.

We use our records and the census to produce our statistics and we look after the Scottish Register of Tartans. 

Search online records to explore your family history and book a seat in the Scotland's People Centre to visit us in person. We also offer tours, talks and exhibitions.
