You cannot use credits to purchase official certificates.

Copies of statutory registers of births less than 100 years old; marriages, divorces and dissolutions less than 75 years old; and deaths less than 50 years old can only be purchased as official certificates. Read more about official certificates and how to pay for them.

Payment

Payment can be by credit or debit card and most major cards are accepted including Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, Switch, Solo, Delta and JCB. All card transactions are processed through our secure payment gateway and therefore your card details are never stored by us.  

Payments made by credit or debit card will appear on your statement as ‘ScotlandsPeople’.
