Rona

There are several islands called Rona. The most populous lies off the west coast of Scotland, to the east of Skye, for which see Rona (South). Another island named Rona, or North Rona, lies in the Outer Hebrides, 47 miles west of Lewis, for which see under Rona (North).

Rona (North)

An island lying 47 miles west of Lewis, in the parish of Barvas and the county of Ross and Cromarty. It was sometimes known as North Rona, or Roney, but not to be confused with the island of Rona to the east of Skye, for which see under Rona (South).

Rona (South)

An island off the west coast of Scotland, to the east of Skye, in the parish of Portree and the county of Inverness. Not to be confused with another island named Rona, or North Rona, in the Outer Hebrides, 47 miles west of Lewis, for which see under Rona (North).
