Fordoun presbytery

A Church of Scotland presbytery. It was in the synod of Angus and Mearns, and was first mentioned in 1662. The presbytery was united with the presbytery of Dundee from 1688 to 1698, under the name of the united presbytery of Angus and Mearns. From 1698 to 1700 the presbytery of Fordoun formed part of the united presbytery of Brechin, Fordoun and Arbroath.
