Faray

One of the Orkney islands, in the parish of Stronsay and the county of Orkney. It was sometimes known as Fara, Pharay or North Pharay. Not to be confused with the island of Fara, or Faray, or South Pharay, in Walls and Flotta parish and the county of Orkney, for which see under Fara.
