Duns

A parish in the county of Berwick. It was a quoad omnia parish (a parish for civil and religious purposes). It was sometimes known as Dunse.

Duns presbytery

A Church of Scotland presbytery. It was in the synod of Merse and Teviotdale. Between 1593 and 1609 it ceded several parishes to the presbytery of Kelso. From 1690 until 1698 it was united with the presbytery of Chirnside.
