Deer presbytery

A Church of Scotland presbytery. It was in the synod of Aberdeen and was known as the presbytery of Crimond until 1626. From 1654 until 1657 it was united with the presbytery of Turriff.

New Deer

A parish in the county of Aberdeen. It was a quoad omnia parish (a parish for civil and religious purposes).

Old Deer

A parish partly in the county of Aberdeen and partly in the county of Banff. It was a quoad omnia parish (a parish for civil and religious purposes). In 1891 the Boundary Commissioners placed the county wholly in the county of Aberdeen.
