Poser 311 – Circuit Court Minute Books, 1677

This week's poser looks at an accusation of witchcraft against Annabill [Annabell] Stewart from Pollokshaws. It is taken from the Circuit Court Minute Books of the High Court of Justiciary and dates to 14 February 1677. The individual who appears to have suffered as a result of the witchcraft is Sir George Maxwell. (National Records of Scotland, JC10/4 page 12).

Watch out for contracted words and the writing of th indistinctly such as in with the, which are the third and second last words on the third line.
