In this poser, taken from the presbytery separate register of Chanonry presbytery (National Records of Scotland, CH2/66/16, page 65), we asked what were the names of Rev James Wood's sons and when were they born.
Answer: John Wood's sons were Charles and William born, respectively, on 27 December 1759 and 15 December 1761.

at Chanonry the Fifth Day of February Jaivij~&sixty years
in presence of the Presbytery by John wood &
